- Gather all ingredients: vanilla ice cream, milk, vanilla extract, sugar (if using), and plenty of ice cubes.
- Add the vanilla ice cream and milk into the blender, along with the vanilla extract and sugar if you prefer a sweeter flavor. Secure the lid tightly.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds, with no lumps remaining.
- Gradually add ice cubes into the blender while blending, stopping occasionally to check the texture. Continue until it reaches a thick, slushy consistency.
- Stop blending once the mixture is smooth, cold, and has a scoopable, icy texture. It should look pale and creamy with visible ice crystals.
- Pour the vanilla slushie into glasses. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon for a refreshing treat.
Notes
For an extra creamy texture, use frozen vanilla yogurt instead of ice cream. Adjust the amount of ice to achieve your preferred slushiness.
