Ingredients
  

  • 1 green apple thoroughly washed and cored
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1/2 oz apple schnapps
  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp simple syrup optional, for sweetness
  • a few drops green food coloring for eerie color
  • ice cubes ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Dice the green apple into small chunks and place them in the bottom of a cocktail shaker.
  2. Use a muddler to gently mash the apple pieces until they release their juice and become pulp.
  3. Add the vodka, apple schnapps, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup (if using), a few drops of green food coloring, and a handful of ice cubes into the shaker.
  4. Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well combined and chilled, and the outside of the shaker feels cold to the touch.
  5. Remove the lid and place a strainer over the shaker; pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass, ensuring a smooth, clear surface with a vibrant green hue.
  6. Garnish with a thin slice of green apple or a small gummy worm on the rim for a spooky finishing touch.

Notes

For a more intense color, add a few more drops of food coloring. Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh apple flavor and colorful presentation.
