- Pour the hot water into a mixing bowl and stir in the lime-flavored gelatin until completely dissolved, creating a bright, transparent liquid.
- Add the cold orange juice to the dissolved gelatin and whisk together until well combined, creating a vibrant orange-green mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to the freezer and let it chill for about 10-15 minutes, until it thickens slightly but is still pourable, creating a jiggly texture.
- Once chilled, pour the gelatin mixture into a punch bowl or large serving pitcher, then gently fold in the lime soda to add fizz and lighten the texture.
- Stir in the green sports drink or juice along with the lime soda until the punch turns a bright, eerie green color and becomes frothy on top.
